Buff Sussex
Buff Sussex are another easy bird to keep and are one of our favourites. They are uncomplicated birds, but they have a graceful elegance about them.
Prolific layers, these birds will lay about 5 eggs a week during their laying period. The subtle browns and fawns in the body is contrasted by the striking black head and tail feathers.
Buff Sussex are docile birds and are well suited to being kept in gardens. With encouragement they will become quite tame. This makes them a good choice for families with children, who want to have productive pets.
